The shelter wishlist
that names the exact bag

List what your animals actually need, from any store: the prescription food, the one litter that works, clean used towels with no product page at all. Share one link. Supporters claim items in two taps with no account, buy them wherever they like, and donations ship straight to your door. Nobody brings the fifteenth bag of the wrong food.

Create your shelter list

What a shelter list gives you

The exact item, not a guess

Sensitive stomachs, prescription diets, the litter your cats will actually use. Link the exact product and that is what arrives, instead of whatever the donation bin collects.

Any store, one list

The pet supply chain, an online retailer, the local feed store. Paste a link from anywhere, or type "clean used towels" for the things no store sells.

No account for supporters

Two taps and they're done. Every signup screen loses the casual giver who saw your post, felt something, and had thirty seconds.

Quantities that count down

"Puppy pads, need 30" lets a dozen supporters each grab some. Claimed items show as taken, and stale claims free back up on their own.

Ships to the shelter

Your address is shown only to someone who has claimed an item, never on the public page. Boxes arrive at your door with no address emailed around.

One list, all year

Supporters can follow the list and hear when you add something, at most one email a day. Kitten season hits, you restock the list, and the word goes out by itself.

How it works

  1. List what the animals need

Paste links to the exact products, type in the linkless things, set quantities on the consumables.

  2. Share one link

Socials, your newsletter, the adoption event table, or the QR code we make you for the lobby poster.

  3. Supporters claim items

Two taps, no account. Claimed items show as taken, and boxes ship straight to the shelter.

Questions shelters ask

Is EZWishlist free for shelters and rescues?

Yes. Building and sharing a wishlist is free, and there is no fee on anything a supporter gives. We never handle the money: supporters buy the item at whatever store sells it and check out there, so the full value of every donation reaches your animals.

Can we ask for the exact food our animals need?

Yes, and that is the point. Paste the link to the exact bag, the specific prescription diet, the one litter that works, and that is what supporters see and buy. No more guessing at the donation bin. Items can come from any store: the pet supply chain, an online retailer, or the local feed store.

What about things that have no product page, like old towels?

Type them in as plain text: "clean used towels and blankets" or "newspaper for kennel lining" sit on the list next to the linked items. Supporters claim them the same way.

Do supporters need an account?

No. They open your link and claim an item in two taps. No signup, no app, no password. The easier it is, the more of the list gets covered, and shelter supporters are exactly the casual, warm-hearted givers a signup screen loses.

How do we stop getting fifteen bags of the same food?

Claimed items are marked as taken, so the next supporter moves on to what is still needed. Need ten bags? Set the quantity to ten and watch it count down. If someone claims an item and never follows through, the claim expires and the item frees back up.

Where do donations ship?

Add your shelter's address to the list. It is shown only to a supporter who has actually claimed an item, never on the public page. Boxes arrive at your door, not a volunteer's inbox.

Our needs change every week. Do we rebuild the list?

No, keep one list alive all year. Edit it as needs change, and supporters who follow the list get an email when you add something, at most one a day. Kitten season restocks reach your supporters without another appeal.

Can staff and volunteers manage the list together?

Yes. Whoever creates the list can invite others to help manage it, and everyone invited can add and edit items. The kennel manager, the foster coordinator, and the front desk can all keep it current; supporters claiming from the list still need no account.
